The course, changed little from its original design, has gained a reputation over the years into what is today considered one of the top courses in the country. You will quickly notice that it retains many of the hallmark traits of vintage Donald Ross architecture, from the smallish, mounded greens with treacherous sloping, unobstructed run-up areas to the front of most greens, strategically placed fairway bunkering and challenging par 3’s. Ross expertly used the topography of the property to create 9 inspired holes that will challenge the advanced player while still allowing for a fun and enjoyable round for the novice. The variety of the design and masterful routing means you will very likely use every club in your bag during the round.
