WGC RULES AND REGULATIONS

WGC DRESS CODE

Appropriate dress is required in all areas of the Clubhouse and Golf Facility. Smart casual dress is appropriate at all times unless otherwise specified. However, no jeans, warm-up suits, short shorts, cut-off shorts, halters, tank-tops, cropped tops, or clothing in disrepair are appropriate at any time. Men’s shirts must have sleeves and a collar or mock turtleneck and must be tucked in. Hats must be worn with the bill forward.

The dress code applies to children as well.

Appropriate shoes without metal spikes are required on the golf course. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that their guests are familiar with the Club’s dress code requirements.

CELL PHONE POLICY

When visiting WGC it is important that your cell phone use does not disturb those around you. With this in mind, we ask that all visitors to WGC keep their phones on silent at all times while on property. The use of smart phones for texting or emailing is acceptable in all areas of the club. Should the need to make or receive a phone call arise, we ask that you do so in a discrete manner so as not to disturb those around you. Please avoid making or receiving phone calls in the Dining Room, Main Foyer, or the area outside the Golf Shop.

PACE OF PLAY

Pace of play is vitally important at WGC. All groups should keep up with the group in front of them.

CART RULES

For those who wish to take a golf cart we ask that you follow these simple rules. Try to keep the carts IN the fairways whenever possible. Furthermore, under no circumstance should the carts ever enter the long fescue grass or the woods. Finally, please pay attention to and abide by all posted cart signs.

PRACTICE AREA

The driving range now has eight individual mini golf bags to hold balls and tees at each bay, along with bag stands and alignment sticks for each hitting area. Drivers are not allowed.
